Alkor's Green Corner and Green Patrol

DEBUTING THE GREEN CORNER AND GREEN PATROL AT COLEGIO ALKOR!

Colegio Alkor has proven it's commitment to the environment and earth awareness by starting a new project called the "Green Corner". Students have been learning about saving water and created a variety of beautiful posters to show what they learned.

However, students are not simply learning new information about the environment, they must also put this knowledge to practice. Every cycle of primaria is also participating in the Green Patrol. Each week two students from each grade patrol the classrooms in their grade  (with a teacher's help) and check to make sure the lights are turned off, the computers and SmartBoards are turned off and that the trash and recycling is separated properly. The Green Patrol is helping to ensure Alkor remains committed to a healthy planet!
